Last month we had a go at painting bridges and today did an exercise of mine with moving water and rocks. It was pretty tricky as gouache was banned…just for today! We used just three colours….ultramarine blue, yellow ochre and crimson alizarin. We worked it as an exercise and not a finished painting as such …that is for homework this month.
