Painting classes for all abilities are held at St Michael’s church hall Gelli Aur/Golden Grove, Llandeilo. Your tutor is Wendy Powell-Jones. The venue has recently been refurbished and is very comfortable with oil fired central heating and excellent kitchen facilities. There is ample easy parking adjacent to the hall itself.
For absolute beginners there are materials
available to borrow and also to buy at cost.
Please take along a pencil, rubber, water pot,
kitchen roll and mixing pallet/plate.
The classes are structured and informative but also informal and enjoyable. No one will be thrown in the deep end and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace with individual help given as much as possible.
Three workshops will be held during the autumn months all of which are suitable for people who have had at least a little tuition before. The first one is also suitable for beginners and there will be materials available to borrow or buy at cost. Please contact Wendy by email or phone 07818555243 to book. Booking and payment in advance please.
Classes can only run with a minimum of six people ( max 12) and fees will be refunded if necessary. Please book well in advance if possible to secure a place. Fee: £15. Classes run from 10.00am to 1.00pm and light refreshments are available at no extra cost.
