Great fun this morning….I hope! I know some people were way out of their comfort zone which is usually a good thing. We did lots of studies of waves and rocks making marks using cut up pieces of credit card…dragging the edge through wet paint.
This workshop we painted foxgloves and using clingfilm and other textural effects
This Pembrokeshire cottage in now in the hands of the NT.
Taking inspiration from the lovely spring weather and a reference from ‘The big book of painting nature in watercolour’ along with a reference of mine we had a happy mornings painting. Some work shown was still in progress.
I am still enjoying our February snowdrops. They are such a lovely simple shape ideal for masking out with artists masking fluid and trying some experimental backgrounds.
