The last Saturday morning class of the year and we painted snowdrops.
Always a great subject to paint. We masked out the flower drawings and tried several experimental backgrounds using watercolour with salt and clingfilm. Some of the resulting paintings were used in aperture cards….a lovely gift.
I am still enjoying our February snowdrops. They are such a lovely simple shape ideal for masking out with artists masking fluid and trying some experimental backgrounds.
Really enjoying painting these and have put some in my Ebay shop.
More snowdrops. We used masking fluid to allow us to paint some loose experimental backgrounds.
