Painting class Saturday July 25th

It was a lovely sunny morning at Gelli Aur. St Michael”s church hall is such a wonderful painting venue.

We had some home work to look at. Those that wanted to had worked on some painting exercises of fruit….getting form by using tone.
We continued along the theme of achieving roundness by painting rocks. I did a short demonstration and then we started a picture based on a painting I rather like done by an artist called Claude Croney. It always reminds me of Llansteffan although the headland in the painting is higher.
I have posted some of those but they are work in progress to be finished during August.
