Llangorse lake

We visited a lovely quiet spot on the south side of the lake by the church at Llangasty. It’s a pretty good spot for bird watching with a lovely walk along the banks of the lake beside deciduous woodland so there is a variety of birds to be seen. There was lots of noise and activity coming from the reedbeds but I only managed to glimpse one reed bunting.

Species: heren, canada geese, swans, gulls- herring and blackheaded, cormorant, coot, lapwing, mallard , teal, pied wagtail, chaffinch, chiffchaff, wood pigeon, goldfinch, blackcap, reedbunting, great tit, bluetit, blackbird and goldcrest.

Probably a common lizard-but I haven't seen many. Near Talybont dam.
